Elliptical Marquee Tool
This is very similar to the Rectangular Marquee Tool to use, though obviously it gives you an elliptical selection box rather then the rectangular. Simply right click on the Rectangular Marquee Tool, which will open a menu, and select Elliptical Marquee Tool from the list. To use it is exactly the same as before, simply place the cursor in the top left side of the area you want to select and holding the left mouse button down drag out the selection box to the size you want. As before you can move the box around by placing the cursor within it's boundaries and holding the left mouse button down, then simply use the mouse to position the box where you want it.
To deselect an area, simply click anywhere on the image with the left button.
You can also change your selection from the are within the box to the area outside of the box. Simply click with the right mouse button anywhere on the image and a menu box will open.
