This will open the Smart Sharpen Window, which looks very similar to the Unsharp Mask window. Again we have chosen an Amount of 100% and a radius of 1 pixel. The preview window shows the image at 100% size so you can see what changes you are making. If you click and hold the left mouse button down in this window you will see the original image, let go the mouse button and you will see the filtered image. You can also grab and move around the area in this window by moving the mouse cursor whilst the left button is held down.

For basic sharpening this is usually as far as you need to go with Smart Sharpening, making it very similar to Unsharp Mask to use, however we will briefly show you the Shadow/Highlight function.
